Queen of Disks
I look at the card and see the queen sitting regally on her throne, she is dressed in green and holds a shield at her side I see the ivy wind up the leg of the throne feeling as if she is one with the natural world there and the earth energy flows through her. In the background I notice the stormy looking skies, and can feel it coming forward, the queen seems not to be bothered by this though as she sits in her own light.

I walk into the card......
I feel a breeze and the sunshine warming my skin as I look towards the queen. The landscape seems wild and rugged, the sort of place I love to walk or run in, It seems there is a storm coming though the weather is good at this place. I approach the queen “Hello” I say “ Thank you for allowing me into your realm here, what do you feel this represents?”
“ This is the realm of earthiness and sensuality, being happy with all forms of life – things being how they are. Here this wild land is as it is, it makes no pretences to be anything other than that. I enjoy the raw wildness of people and of places. Here to survive you need to know your roots, connect yourself to the earth and trust its nurturing supportiveness as well as respect its power of destruction in just being itself. I hold here a shield which I use to protect myself as is necessary the time is not now for its use, but through my experience I know that it is a necessary thing to carry. I take responsibility for myself in this barren land and am able to survive by working with it not against it.
You see the ivy at the foot of my chair here, this is representing the connection I have with the earth energy. I represent all sports and physical activity as these things ground your energy in your body, I also represent living in harmony with the earth itself and the material realm in general I trust the abundance of the earth and can allow myself to be supported as i need at all times – there is no fear, only the knowledge that as I bring my energy directly to earth that I will be provided for in food and emotional support. I am also able to offer physical places of shelter to others. I know this land. – Come for a walk with me and I will show you some of its blessings.”
“Thank you” I say and follow her as she gets up and walks behind her throne – we follow a winding path into the distance – going towards the stormier weather it seems. I feel warm though and safe. She brings me to a lake and says to me “This is the lake of rejuvenation, here I can cleanse myself of physical debris and dirt and also of emotional debris – the natural world provides its way of cleansing for us, remember to use it, cleanse yourself of the energies of others in particular. Nature can show us how to do this. The storm that is coming that you are very conscious of is only another form of cleansing and balancing – it doesn't mean something bad will happen, it is only a time where energy builds up and needs to be released to cleanse and rejuvenate those areas it lands on.
Again sometimes you need to create a storm to clear things up – to refresh yourself and others, to allow new growth to take place and sometimes to tear down the things that are old and weak allowing them to return to the earth for recycling. You know these things in your heart but many times you forget them. I am here in this card to remind you, and those who pick me, to turn to nature for their inspiration and guidance. Everything that we are is reflected in nature and we have less tendency to see nature as wrong when we accept it is as it is and this in itself is a great lesson to be learned. If you understood yourself with such acceptance then enlightenment would be seen indeed. Allow nature to talk to you about the mundane things in your life as well as the spiritual – it has the answers for you. ”
“Thank you oh Queen, you are very wise” She turns from the pool and we walk round to a cliff face and she says here... “These are the steep ways we choose from time to time – to accelerate our learning and become higher – see the world from a greater hight this is one way and sometimes is called for. There is no problem in walking round the longer way to get to the same place and it may be less fearful. You choose the path that is right at the time. Each of us do, do not condemn another for their chosen journey for all paths lead to enlightenment ultimately.” “Thank you queen again.”
I like this journey it is enjoyable here. I feel then the rain starts to splash down on me and I feel initially that I need to hide then realise that it is only rain and there is no need. “Yes,” she says “allow the rain to cleanse your aura and energy systems for this rain is healing rain as it falls and cleanses and the clouds empty then the sun shines again bring ing the warmth and love you desire” I walk with her and she shows me to a cave and says “You can shelter here, for all paths are allowed, you can both allow yourself the cleansing and also wait it out in the cave as you chose. I see a fire in the cave and sit by it for its warmth and realise as I look into it that fire is cleansing too and I seem to feel as if I am being shown the many ways this can occur – through the breeze in the beginning, through the rain, through the shelter of rock, through the fire. It is like the elements all have their ways to do this job and it is up to us which is to be used at which time. Each doing its job in a different way. Like us – we have our roles and many of us may be doing ultimately the same job but in different ways, each valuable and appropriate for different situations and different times. There is no judgment. ”
“I see I say – so there is no judgment – is this your message for me?” “Yes it is – as is the guidance you most need is yours and in your language, it may not be someone else's as theirs may come in a different way – we can share our experiences with each other but not have those experiences for each other.” I suddenly feel a bit hungry and then I notice there is food at my side, I can warm it on the fire and eat. “I am about nurturing and having your needs met in a very physical way, food, shelter, comfort and warmth, I come into your readings when these things need more focus, also when there is needed a feeling of no judgment of the needs you or another has, respecting each is different. ” “ Thank you” I say
“ What if you are reversed?” “Well then I am someone who is so concerned with the material that I have no room for the meaning, I may well be very judgmental of others for the things they have and don't have and for the needs they have and how they meet these needs. I represent a stuckness with the material world too – not being able to allow the energy of the earth to flow through, and perhaps in this finding life very limiting in a physical sense. I may represent someone bitter too, that the things they want don't turn out the way they would like them. The shield being used to hold the world's natural abundance out rather than allowing it in and allowing the earth to nurture them. I would represent a fear of being looked after also. In my upright stance I am someone who just knows things will be provided as they need them, knows they are safe and that the world is a safe place to be regardless of the storms that seem to show themselves.”
“Thank you, you have shown me a lot here and I need to take much of this away and apply to my own life, having more faith in abundance and seeing the place of the storms that occur as being positive cleansing things rather than punishments for behaviour gone past. As I say good bye and turn I see that the skies have indeed cleared and there is a lot of white fluffy cloud now with much sunlight and blue sky, the queen looks as happy and comfortable with this as with the stormier weather earlier. I feel her strength and stability and somehow her message comes to me in a knowing sort of way. I wave good bye and walk out of the card feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

The readings I offer on the phone, internet, in person or by post are detailed and last between 1/2 hour to an hour, also I record them onto CD or MP3 so you can listen to them time and time again – often people find that the things I have said take on new meanings as time passes and that the information that comes through really helps as situations unfold.
Information is gained both from the tarot cards as well as psychically the two forms of guidance merging together to give insight to any situation you are concerned about, or you general future.
Readings can be done by distance onto a CD or MP3 and sent to you in the post, so there's no need to be living in my area, or need to find a time we can both be present. I offer readings Face to Face, On Skype video phone, and usual telephone, as well as distance readings without you needing to be present or available when I do the reading for your focus directly onto CD or MP3. I now offer ongoing development sessions where we use guided meditations, readings and counselling techniques of various kinds to help you develop yourself from both a spiritual and psychological point of view. The sessions are very flexible and we can cover what you need in order to gain the most out of your life. Living your life closer and closer to your souls ideal. This is not psychotherapy though - but a regular support with teaching of skills, to help you move through lifes challenges and develop spiritually and psychologically. Personal relationship awareness and self development
By request, I am currently developing a course focusing on psychological self development and awareness of relationship patterns of behaviour we get into time and time again, to be run later on in the year. It will be heavily based on the theories of Transactional Analysis, which is a theory that explores the games we play with each other and the internal sub-personalities of Parent, Adult and Child, with a view to becoming more authentic in our lives. The course will be held online via a forum as my other courses are. It is not connected with tarot reading specifically, however it will be useful in dealing with clients, whether tarot, healing or other supportive professional roles - particularly where you may find challenges of communication. Initial Thoth Course We are currently taking bookings for the Initial Thoth course starting on January 2012. It covers the psychological and intuitional approaches to reading with the Thoth. There is a good deal of personal work and students often feel they have transfermed personally a lot through the course's duration, in addition to feeling confident with the Thoth and their increasing intuitive skills.
